REALM Releases Its Latest Version of ARGUS The Industry Standard for Lease by Lease, Discounted Cash Flow Analysis |
New York, NY -- (March 28, 2002) -- REALM Business Solutions, Inc. announced today the general release of ARGUS 10.0, the latest version of REALM's industry standard financial analysis tool. ARGUS analyzes all property types utilizing actual lease terms, conditions and clearly presented assumptions and can quickly and accurately calculate a property's true cash flow and investment value. ARGUS is used in 38 countries by over 15,000 real estate professionals including developers, owners, fee managers, brokers, mortgage bankers, lenders, appraisers, leasing agents, asset managers, portfolio managers, advisors, accountants and government agencies.
ARGUS 10.0 includes a number of enhancements specifically designed to make the product easier to use and more flexible in terms of importing data and exporting results. The new "Executive Dashboard" highlights key input assumptions, cash flows and yield information on a single, easy to read screen that extends the product beyond financial analysis into a more robust executive decision support tool. The "ARGUS Wizard" eliminates the learning curve for new users of the application and enables models to be created in a matter of minutes. ARGUS comes with a new enhanced Excel "Import and Export Utility" that streamlines the data entry and report packaging processes.
"The advances in ARGUS 10.0 are of a magnitude last seen when ARGUS was migrated from DOS to the Windows platform," says Stephen Lowrance, Director of Product Management. In an effort to create an open data exchange standard, ARGUS 10.0 was enabled to natively read and write reXML. This standard, introduced by the REALM in September 2001, is a common medium of data exchange between REALM products including DYNA 11.0 and REALMBudget 3.0, both scheduled to be released later this summer. This new feature enables industry users to more easily move data between third party applications and REALM applications.
The REALM is accepting orders for and will begin shipping ARGUS 10.0 today. Existing licensed users of ARGUS will automatically receive the new release as part of their maintenance arrangements with the REALM.
