Five REALTOR Associations Sign on With RE FormsNet to Provide Electronic Forms to Their Members
More Than 10,000 Additional REALTORS Nationwide Will Have Access to The Latest Technology in Forms Software to Ensure a Quicker, More Efficient Real Estate Transaction
LOS ANGELES, CA -- (March 22, 2002) -- RE FormsNet LLC announced today that five additional REALTOR associations have signed new licensing agreements to use RE FormsNet's electronic forms software for real estate transactions. State associations in Maine and Mississippi and regional associations in Coastal and Prince George's County in Maryland and the Firelands Association in Ohio have agreed to use the new ZipForm Version 5 electronic forms software, the official forms software of the National Association of REALTORS. ZipForm will now be available in 38 states and provinces through 126 associations and brokers.
"REALTOR associations that have elected to include ZipForm in their dues will also benefit from the browser-based version, slated for release later this year, which works hand-in-hand with the desktop version," said Gary Thomas, chairman of the board of RE FormsNet. "By utilizing both products, REALTORS will have the best of both worlds by being able to work either online or offline. "RE FormsNet continues to set the industry standard with not only its electronic forms but also the integration of other programs into the popular ZipForm program," he said.
ZipForm Version 5, which is available through the ZipForm Web site at http://www.zipform.com , enables users to e-mail entire transactions or individual documents and annotate e-mailed documents via "sticky notes." ZipForm for Palm OS allows users to start a transaction on any PDA on Palm OS 3.1 or higher.
